COLOUR AND QUALITY: Chestnut brown, though clear with a head the colour of cream.
 
BODY AND MOUTHFEEL: Smooth, round and very drinkable.
 
AROMA: Caramelised malt and discreet scent of citrus fruits from the hops. There is also a note of sweetness from the muscavado sugar to the aroma. In addition, the beer has a smell of biscuits and cereal, so the corn base of the beer is clearly revealed.
 
TASTE: Middle-bodied and malty – a cocktail of caramel, corn, chocolate and liquorice. A touch of sweetness, mildly hop-bitter with a subtle note of caramel.
 
FOOD MATCH: Suitable with salads, fish, shellfish, buffet table and café dishes.
